Red Stag

Tomorrow the Red Stag season starts. Here a video from  last week. A perfect 12 pointer posing in front of my trail cam. Unfortunatly to young to be shot, may be 6 years only.

Hitra 2018

Back from our annual trip to Hitra, Norway. The fishing and the weather wasn't as good as last year.
The first week we had slow fishing with the odd Polack and a few Cod. In the last days then, we could catch a good number of Coalfish on one of our favorite spots, 7 of them above 10 kg and the biggest 12,5 kg.

Hunting season started

First weekend of this years hunting season. Saw a lot of boar and could shoot that  42kg female at 03.30 AM today.

Hitra, last fishing day

Last fishing day on our Hitra trip. We went back to the spot from Sunday and found some fish left.
Jigging with soft plastic bait was on the schedule today and Gretel did best with 2 Cod and 1 Coalfish, all around 10kg.

Coalfish XL

On Sunday we hit a spot with big Coalfish, we got 4 - 10+ the biggest was 14kg.

Trolling with Bomber wobbler was the medicin. Real fun this fish on light tackle!

Hitra 2017

Since last Friday we're on Hitra to our annual sea fishing trip to Norway. The fishing is good provided the weather permitts. We're catching nice Pollack, Coalfish and Cod, Trolling with Downrigger and Rapala wobbler was the deal.

New smolt for Vänern

Today "Silverlaxen" stocked 1700 fresh Trout Smolt out of Dalbergsa into Vänern. We hope that they crow fast and come back to our lures.

2 salmon

Got 1 salmon of 5 kg early in the morning followed by 5 hours without anything, then around noon 3 strikes within 6 minutes, 1 salmon of 7 kg, 1 to short and 1 went off.

Full Pott #3

Another nice day on Vänern with Full Pott at 12.00AM. Got 1 trout of 7 kg and 2 salmon of 6.5 and 4.5 kg as well as 1 released with 4kg which came while I was pulling the lines and 1 lost.

Full Pott #2

Back on a nice and calm Vänern after our trip to a rough Baltic Sea.
The fish were still in the same area as they were before we left, only a bit closer to shore.
Fishing with Löja gave Full Pott, 3 salmon of 5kg and 2 x 4kg.

Baltic salmon 13.8 kg

First day fishing the Baltic Sea out of Ystad brought 1 salmon of 13.8 kg.

Todays fishing was very slow, nothing happened before 3 PM. Then I got first a small one , followed by a fettfenna and finally a nice salmon of 7.2 kg.

In the morning we had some Roedeer visiting our garden eating the fresh grown flowers.

During the day that small bird was fishing with me for almost 4 hours.
