2nd day Moose hunting

1 Cow-Moose was shot today by the Hunt-Leader, Johnny aka "Bäckinge" himself. I saw 2 nice Moose by myself but as the quota for adult moose was fulfilled with the 3rd one shot they had to be passed on. 4 Calv-Moose are left on the quota for the area, which will be hunted at next Saturday.

2 Bull-Moose have been shot today, unfortunately I didn't see anything. New try tomorrow.

Moose hunting on the weekend

I got a last minute opportunity to hunt for moose on the weekend starting from tomorrow morning.
The hunt will take place in Värmland near Arjäng and I'm hoping to see and get something. Report to come.

1 Trout

Finally a fishing day, after 2 weeks of blowing wind, but with difficult conditions, due to a lot of boat traffic and weather, which was too nice for the fish. Anyhow, I got 1 trout of 4.3 kg and missed 2 strikes.

A real Moose

Today was the opener of the moose hunting in our region!

2 salmon in foggy weather

Today I started fishing with bait fish as calm and sunny weather was predicted, but the result was poor with 1 small salmon until noon time only and no sun at all. So I decided to swap to wobbler and change place as well, which was the right move with getting 2 salmon of 7 and 4.5 kg in the afternoon.

1 salmon again

1 salmon of 4.4 kg was the outcome of today's fishing, as well as 4 small ones and a Pike of 8.5 kg and 110 cm.

Today's afternoon fishing gave 1 salmon of 3kg, as well as 4 small trout, five empty strikes and 2 fish 60+ with "fettfenna", which are supposed to be "wild" and to be released.

Full Pott

The first limit catch since 2 and 1/2 year was the result of today's fishing. 2 salmon of 3 and 4 kg, which came in a double hook on the downrigger as well as a trout of 3 kg at the same spot short after. Further more 2 small trout, 1 lost salmon as well as a Pike of 105 cm.

Same as yesterday

Today's fishing was almost a copy of yesterdays, same spot, same time, same rod and lure, result 1 trout of 4kg and 2 small ones and to much wind in the afternoon. Now we will get one week of shit weather.

Another Trout

Today's fishing gave one more trout of 4.5kg as well as one small and 3 lost fish. The fishing was good until noon time, than the fucking wind messed it up.

Fall season opened on Vaenern

Today was my opener of the Fall trolling season on Vaenern. We launched the boat in the morning and I started fishing around 8:30, 45 minutes later I had the first fish in the boat, a trout of 6.9 kg. I got 2 more trouts in the afternoon, only they were too short.
