The lake was like a mirror, the sun was shinning from a blue sky, a weather for getting a nice sun tan or play a round of golf, rather than fishing for salmon. But the luck and the size was with me.
After having lost one fish right at noon and some unsuccessful time, I decided to change places to another spot, where some other boats already caught fish. Soon after arriving I got a fish on the 12m downrigger rod. A tough fight followed and the third netting attempt was successful. The fish was measured 95cm and weighted in the harbor being 10.05 kg. The second biggest I've caught in Vänern up to date and a real big fish day.
