Hunting in Hungary

Back from our hunting trip to Hungary, which was very successful. In total I shot 4 red deer, being 1 adult female, 1 female Calv, and 2 male Calv as well as 5 Pheasant during our small game hunting day. Unfortunately I couldn't get a red stag, due to the mild weather condition, which made the deer only moving in darkness and a proper sighting was almost impossible. Further I could shoot 2 wild boar in the time of 5 minutes at the same baiting spot.

Season Finale

After 3 weeks with storm we finally got a fishing day. As some more bad weather is coming soon it was my final day of this years fall season and it was a good day. After getting the boat cleaned of ice in the morning I made it to the water around 8:30 and fished the area where I started the season. I got a small trout in the morning and than 3 hours nothing. At 11:50 AM a salmon of 5.5 kg hit a wobbler on the surface and as soon as the fish was in the boat another rod went off with a trout of 7.8 kg followed by a small salmon. Than the wind became to strong and I made it to the shore.
So the boat is out of the water and will be stored for the winter.
Next is Christmas with the family followed by hunting in Hungary.

30° C warmer

Today is the 1st of December and it is 30° C warmer than last year at this time, no snow and ice have been seen yet. Winter is something a trolling angler doesn't need at all, only the wind could ease a bid down, maybe next week.

1 Trout

A single trout of 3.3kg was everything I got today. The weather was perfect but I somehow didn't have the right setup or fished the wrong spot. For the next 10 days the weather forecast is looking quit bad, a lot of storm to come, at least no winter in sight.

1 Trout and 1 salmon

1 Trout of 7.5 kg and 1 salmon of 4.5 kg were the outcome of the fishing today, as well as a small trout. Löja was the deal again, although the wind was a bid strong. The trout was my biggest fish in the fall season thus far.

Today's single strike was a Trout of 5 kg.

1 Salmon in dense fog

1 salmon of 5 kg and 1 lost fish was the result of today's fishing. Too much wind and dense fog were the ugly conditions.

Today was Löja fishing again, unfortunately the wind was strong in the morning, but around noon it eased down. I got the first strike around 1:00 o'clock, which came off. Short after I got a salmon of 5kg and around 3:00 a Trout of 4kg.

We had the boat out of the water in the morning for a motor service, so I fished only 3 hours in the afternoon and got a single strike, which resulted in a trout of 2.9 kg.

Moose hunting day 4

Today was the final day Moose hunting, 1 Calv was shot. I have seen only Roe deer. So, that season is over and I hope that I can participate next year as well.

2 salmon

I fished with Löja again today and got 2 salmon of 4.5 and 5 kg as well as 1 lost. All happened before 12:00 o'clock than the wind fucked up the fishing.

1 salmon and 1 trout

I started fishing with Löja but the wind became to much so I switched to Wobbler around 10:00 and got a small trout on immediately. Around noon came the salmon of 3.8 kg as well as another small trout. One more trout of 3.3kg on the way home. We have seen the sun today, the first time since almost 3 weeks and the full moon.
